In 2015, we receive a new roof.

In 2015, the museum receives a new roof. After years of fundraisers and generous donations from local residents, the Niagara Area Historical Society is finally having the much needed new roof installed on the museum.

The new membrane roof is being installed by Markell Co. from Iron Mountain and will protect our collections for many years to come. Thank you to everyone who supported us to make this possible!

There is much more work to be done on the inside of the building in order to meet our goal and open next spring. Please join us for our weekly work bees, each Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
